Witney Mills is a very friendly club that always welcomes new bowlers. The club shares its green with West Witney Bowls Club. If you are interested in bowling please feel free to contact the club secretary; click HERE to go to our Contact Us page.
The club plays a mixture of games including friendly games, league games, county competitions and club competitions.
Matches - a brief introduction:
Tuesdays and Wednesdays – friendly ladies' fixtures against clubs from across the county. Dress code is club shirts and greys, Captain - Jackie Dunsby.
Thursday League - a game for men who want to play competitive matches. Dress code is club shirts and grey trousers, Captain - Adrian Dunsby
Saturday and Sundays - mixed friendly games against local opposition. A very good afternoon playing bowls. Dress code is club shirts and normally white trousers/skirts. Captain - Richard Barnett
You will find lists to sign up for matched on the club notice board so please put your name up early to help the club captains pick the team. The selected team will be available on this website and also displayed on the notice board in the changing room approximately 5 days before the scheduled game.
